LTA embarks on brand promotion tour

Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) has introduced its new brand awareness campaign called #UnlikeAnyOther, with the aim of strengthening its brand equity and leverage by presenting tourism destinations in the province as destinations that are “unlike any other” destinations in the country.

The campaign commenced recently with a tour involving three groups of Limpopo based celebrities such as Wiseman Zitha, Master KG and Rami Chuene. The group visited three national parks based in the province, namely Kruger, Marakele and Mapungubwe National Park. 

The tour was specifically designed to woe back local people that live in other provinces, but occasionally come back home in Limpopo to Visit Friends and Relatives (VFRs) during holidays…usually from neighbouring provinces such as Gauteng, North West and Mpumalanga.

The area of focus included heritage areas, culture, adventure, and Safari, where the group members had an opportunity to go on game drives to see animals at their natural habitats, and learned about their behaviour. This was done to promote Limpopo as a destination of choice for both the locals and to those that are beyond borders of the province.

“The history of Mapungubwe is very rich. It was so exciting to be taken around the places. I will no doubt return for more in future,” said Chuene while Master KG was happy to have been afforded a chance to visit Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve for the first time.
